Christy Dura-Cast niches are produced with concrete that far exceeds the strength requirements for virtually any known structure including roadways, bridges, high-rise buildings, and major airport runways.

The interior of each niche is lined with Christy’s FIBRELYTE™ liner and covered with a FIBRELYTE™ protective shutter. FIBRELYTE™ is an attractive, strong and durable material made from polyester resins and fiberglass along with ultra violet inhibitors. It is non-combustible and provides a clean marbled appearance that also helps protect the niche interior from invasive dust and insects.

The niches can be manufactured in many different configurations making them suitable for a wide variety of designs and locations. Because of their high structural strength, they can be used to support overhead structures for added aesthetics, shade, and weather protection. (See designs)
